Meet the Founder
FC Finance was founded by Jeff Narweh, an ACCA Chartered Accountant working within professional football.
But the mission behind the organisation began long before his career in finance.
Growing up, Jeff dreamed of becoming a footballer. He spent years training, competing and chasing opportunities, including trials with West Ham United.
For a moment, it felt like the pathway to professional football was within reach.
But like many young players, that path eventually closed.
When football was no longer Plan A, Jeff focused on education and began building a career beyond the pitch.
During that transition, he experienced something that many young people go through but rarely speak about openly.
A lack of financial preparation.
At university, managing money for the first time brought challenges. Overdrafts were misunderstood as extra money. Student loan instalments were treated like income rather than money that needed to last.
There was no structure. No system. No framework.
Later, after starting his career and receiving his first credit card, the same lack of preparation continued.
Only the available balance was visible. The long term impact of interest and minimum repayments was not.
Those early financial mistakes eventually led to five figure debt and significant mental pressure.
Anxiety.
Avoidance.
Isolation.
Looking back, the problem was never intelligence.
It was preparation.
That experience became the foundation for what would later become FC Finance.
Today, Jeff combines his experience as a Chartered Accountant working in professional football with his passion for education to help others avoid the same mistakes.
His mission is simple:
To ensure the next generation entering football and adulthood receive the preparation that many people never had.
Because financial pressure should not be something people learn to handle only after it arrives.
They should be prepared for it long before.
And ultimately, to help the football world win off the pitch too.
